With zero experience detailing cars, I thought I would go all out and try it myself. Before getting started, I needed to decide on the products I was going to be using. I learned about various waxes, polishers and cleaners that would be useful for Audi's hard paint, and it my case, Audi's hard
black paint.
I chose Zymol's product line because of it's reputable name and I like I said, I wanted to go all out.
1) two bucket wash
2) clay bar with megs quick detailer
3) two bucket wash
4) tire glaze (zaino)
3) pre-wax/clean (zymol hd-cleanse)
4) wax (zymol carbon)
I wanted to try it like the pros, so the wax was applied by hand, one panel at a time. The instructions indicated that the wax was to be wiped off immediately. It was slightly cold outside, so instead, I left the wax on until I felt it was ready to take off.
I asked Mike if he was interested in getting his hands wet and if he wanted to help a first timer out. He accepted, and cut the time in half!
