Zymol Wax
I found a really old article on the web when I was searching "how to use zymol hd cleanse". It's clear they want you to apply by hand. I've also ran into the "sticky" patch that can happen when using HD-Cleanse. I go through many microfibres when cleaning and waxing. It will make your life a lot easier.

Remember, when applying - non-circular motion. Light pressure (disregard the manual on pressure, according to John Walsh, Zymol Technical Director). Apply by hand (as well as the wax). You'll start to get a good feel (literally) of what the HD-Cleanse and wax is doing, and the condition of the paint.
By hand, you will eventually start to feel the HD-Cleanse loading up, and sticky patch areas will occur. You will arrive to a point where there is a distinctive difference between these patches and oily areas. Wipe up the sticky patches with one cloth. Then buff (always lightly) with a separate cloth. On your first time HD-Cleanse of a car, you may need to do several applications to clean the paint.
On the Carbon, again apply by hand - the warmth of your hand helps dissolve the wax. Back and forth motions. Use sparing amounts and apply with light pressure. Wipe off major wax residue with one cloth, buff with a second cloth. It may take 30 seconds to buff an area. Fear not, with a clean cloth, it all comes up.
Cheers,
Filippo
p.s. HD-Cleanse and Carbon will not hurt chrome. For urethane parts, you
can also purchase Zymol Detail which has extra additives to compensate for flex agents in the paint on urethane parts. For plastic areas, Zymol Vinyl works great and is not silicone based, so it's easy to wipe off the
paint.
