UH, I wish i could help. A hood is expensive im sure. Getting it painted will be tough if its silver since local body shops try to mix their matallics on site and rarely hit it perfect. Go to someone trusted and pay the 30% extra. I know a customer who was hit on the drivers door at 80km. Ill ask if the hood was damaged and if he knows where the car ended up. It might take a few days as I know he spends his weekdays out west working. Either way, good luck and Ill ask around for ya.

i know a few bodyshops and the one I trust said there no way to be 100% on the colour he has a 2006 boxster that was smacked up that he repainted the car. Thanks for the link to standard auto wreckers. Also thanks for replying to the thread.
