Default TDI - plans for Canada?
Does anyone know if there are any plans to bring new diesel models to North America?

I would love to buy a diesel TT but I live in Canada, and of course we are always deprived of such efficient stylish vehicles while Europeans get to enjoy them.

The diesel is available in north america, here in Canada included. You can get the A3 TDI and I believe the Q5 comes with a diesel option.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be seeing a TT TDI any time soon, hopefully I'm wrong!

Hi, I just joined this forum and I'm an ABS at Audi of Mississauga.

We currently get two models in diesel; the A3 in FWD and stronic only and the Q7.

A3

I'm missing the price for the TDI

A3 TDI $35,300
A3 TDI Premium $38,000

Great info. Do you know if the Q5 will have a TDI option for Canadians?

No plans for a Q5 TDI anytime soon. The 2.0t will be available as a 2011 model later on in the fall.

Well, the 2.0t is a superb engine, and it's great that this is becoming an option on more models as we've seen it in the new A5.
